Kitterman collects personal information such as name, address, email address, credit card information and billing address when you register for the Service. Kitterman does not routinely monitor (with the exception of anti-virus scanning and other abuse prevention techniques) or disclose the contents of Customer's email. Email source and destination addresses are routinely logged as part of normal system operations.
We use this information only as necessary to provide you with the Service. You will always retain the option to choose if your contact information is used to send you company and product information, special offers, and in some cases, newsletters.

application.
We do not sell or disclose individually identifiable information obtained online about our Customers to anyone outside of Kitterman. The only exceptions to this rule are the following:
It is required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us
Disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of Customers, employees, or property
Sharing data with our authorized vendors, contractors and agents, only to the extent necessary for them to perform their work, in order that Kitterman can carry out certain functions in marketing and delivering Services to you.
On occasion, Kitterman shares non-personally identifiable information with non-Kitterman companies in order to assess our Services. This information is used in aggregate only, and does not contain any information that would personally identify you.
Our site may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other sites.
Kitterman
strives to continuously improve our Customers' experience by
providing them with the latest information about the benefits of our
products and services and in other circumstances described below. We
may provide this information in any number of ways, including emails
to our Customers. Moreover, in the following situations, we reserve
the right to communicate through email with our Customers, including
those who have opted out of receiving solicitation-based emails,
to:

• Respond to a Customer’s

• Confirm transactions, orders, payments and
registrations placed online

a Customer or potential customer has requested

Kitterman supports and complies with all laws
governing its email communications and will update this policy as
needed to ensure ongoing compliance.
We are committed to protecting the information you give us, so we implement the appropriate safeguards to do so. Any information that you give us is protected by a password with a minimum of six characters for added security. Your information is stored in password-protected, limited-access servers. Wherever possible, our servers reside behind a corporate firewall that maintains tight controls on any access to the system from both our internal network and the Internet. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to transmit sensitive information such as credit card numbers. SSL is a transport level technology for authentication and data encryption between a web server and a web browser. SSL sends data over the "socket" which is a secure channel at the connection layer.
ECPA NOTICE. Kitterman treats email messages and other communications through this site (except for email messages posted to areas of this site that are viewable by others) as private. Exceptions are those permitted by law, included under the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986, 18 U.S.C. Sections 2701-2711 (the "ECPA"). The ECPA permits our limited ability to intercept and/or disclose electronic messages, including, for example (i) as necessary to operate our system or to protect our rights or property, (ii) upon legal demand (court orders, warrants, subpoenas), or (iii) where we receive information inadvertently which appears to pertain to the commission of a crime. Customers not agreeing to the modified Privacy Policy may terminate the Service. Continued use after such modifications have been posted shall be deemed acceptance of by Customer.
This Privacy Policy is deemed incorporated into and a part of our Terms of Use posted at: http://controlledmail.com/terms.html. All capitalized terms used herein and not specifically defined shall have the definitions assigned to such terms in the Terms of Use.
